You just have to be smart when fighting him. Trust me if you go against someone on the same level as you, Sarge is not nearly as op. A lot of people that complain about his damage or showcase his damage are going against people 2 dojo’s lower than them. He is absolutely a balanced character and is by no means cheap if you know what you are doing when fighting him. He has to have a lot of damage since he has a lot of negatives. It’s a slow attack and extremely punishable. A lot of his attacks are punishable on block, his unbreakable states are slow except for dismissed and people bitch about commanders press but unless you’re careless you really shouldn’t get hit by a spammer. He’s just easy to use but very few people have actually mastered this character. He’s not that fast and he doesn’t have the greatest defense. If Sarge had average damage he would be underpowered since he has no shadow attacks or anything that is unblockable other than ranged attacks. What you guys don’t understand is he does pack a lot of damage but he doesn’t have any shadow attacks just regular attacks and temporary invulnerability.
